Upcoming Events
The Village of Ruidoso will hold a public hearing on February 11, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. in the Village Council Chambers, 313 Cree Meadows Drive, to discuss proposed Ordinance 2025-01. This ordinance amends Chapter 54 (Land Use) of the Municipal Code, addressing zoning regulations for short-term residential rentals and related fees. Copies are available at the Municipal Clerk’s office.

Village of Ruidoso offices and facilities will be closed for President's Day on Monday, February 17, 2025, in observance of the national holiday. Regular operations will resume on Tuesday, February 18, 2025. We apologize for any inconvenience and thank you for your understanding.
The Village of Ruidoso will hold a Public Hearing on February 18, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. in the Village Council Chambers to consider transferring Inter-Local Dispenser License #2540 to YesterPub, LLC for on-premises consumption at Ruidoso Bowling Center, 1202 Mechem Dr. Preliminary approval has been granted. Comments can be directed to Municipal Clerk Jini S. Turri at (575) 258-4343, Ext. 1007.

The Humane Society of Lincoln County offers free spay/neuter services on February 25, 2025, for World Spay Day. Registration starts February 6 at 10 AM at the shelter, 255962 Highway 70. Limited spots are available. Vaccinations and microchipping can be added for a fee. Preventing unnecessary litters helps reduce pet overpopulation. The Wingfield Heritage House Museum invites families to Hands-on History Family Day on Saturday, March 1, from 10 AM to 2 PM. This free event offers interactive activities, including retro games, handwriting practice, crafts, a historic photo booth, and museum exploration. Located at 2813 Sudderth Drive, the museum showcases Ruidoso’s rich history.
