Workforce Housing Development at 603 Mechem Progressing Steadily

Progress continues on the much-anticipated workforce housing development at 603 Mechem Drive. All modular housing units are now onsite, though they are not yet set in place. Contractors are diligently working to finalize pad sites, and utility installation remains on schedule for completion by February 2024.

To minimize disruptions, the Village of Ruidoso is coordinating the transportation of the modular homes to the property. Residents may experience brief interruptions as the units are moved through the Village, but efforts are being made to ensure smooth and efficient operations.

The Village is also accepting bids for landscaping services for the development. Landscaping work is set to begin in February, subject to favorable temperatures.
